no, it indicts the firearm manufacturer just like the smokers that sued
the cigarette manufacturers for the choices they'd made to smoke

What does a political/judicial decision have to do with scientific method?  Everybody knows jurors are saps for a sob story.  I don't know of any case where someone successfully sued a gun manufacturer because their product was used in a crime.

people will exploit what they can, this peer review process is open to
exploitation, as I mentioned, botanists shouldnt be the reviewers for
quantum physics papers but the system in place allows for it therefore
the system is flawed

I do not believe that is correct.  Please provide an example of a quantum physics paper reviewed by a botanist.

What happened in the whole Fauxbull Warming fiasco is that the scientists turned into politicians.  Now they are getting their asses kicked for it.  The system is working.  It just took a little while.

having an email address hacked doesnt equate to the system working

peer review is a judicial process

That isn't the only thing that has been exposed.  The failure to comply with FOIA requests, glacier bullshit, rainforest bullshit, station citing issues, adjustments, selective data choices in tree rings.  All of this was independant of the hacked e-mails.  There never was settled science.  Just settled politics.

Peer review is not a judicial process.  It is a replication process.  Ask Pons and Fleischman.

it's interesting that you mentioned Fleischman because one of the
reviewers in this was Stephen E. Jones, one of the founders of the 9/11
truth movement, interestingly enough Jones had a paper peer reviewed and
published on the thermite found in the dust of the WTC attacks, some of
which stated they really didnt have the expertise properly scrutinize
Jones claims

but that's what happens with the judicial process we call peer review
non-experts write papers, others without a clue review it, obviously
replication of 9/11 is out of the question just as replication of
'global warming' would be difficult

Fleishman of Fleishman and Pons?  The notorious cold fusion fakes?  Peer review took care of him then and it has taken care of the 9/11 nutlogs, too.
