Psilocin is structurally similar to serotonin.

How do you know which is the best? Do you take various drugs that affect different neurotransmitters and see which you like most? It's not very scientific, but it's a decent anecdote.

I've always been a fan of acetylcholine. I can't move a muscle in my body without it. Cannabinoids are always fun, too.

It's not that simple... for instance, MDMA releases serotonin and dopamine. Also, I don't understand the hostility but don't get offended because you made an assumption and were incorrect. You simply asked is this correct, not, "teach me fucking Pharmacology and Pharmacodynamics in one post..."

Well putting it shortly:

I like:
Opium, Hash, (not green leaf, I don't like it much), Shrooms, LSD.
Speed *ever now and then but not since we've had kids, can't be all out on stuff all night!, Xanax/Alprazolam

Since we've had kids, we mostly only trip every couple months or have a few drinks.

I believe classic psychedelics bind to certain serotonin receptors (ht2a, mostly), which causes the associated neurons to be significantly more or less likely to fire, among other less well understood changes. I'm no neuroscientist though, and I'm sure someone else can give a much more detailed and better explanation.

I was just thinking about this earlier and talking to my friends about it. (The topic)

To me it basically comes down to: Which euphoria is better? MDMA or Cocaine?

My answer is cocaine. :sadyes:
