well, i know a guy who grows them, and i guess he's had sucess with them. he just started though, and began offering those spores from spore magic a week ago.

Yes, I have grown them alot. They seem to like being cased more so than cakes. The flushes are nice with 4-5 inch stems and quarter size caps( Kinda pointy)They are very potent in my opinion. I used them to experience a level five a few months ago. They visuals were extremly intense. One note I have found is that the mycelium is slightly slower growing than other popular strains. And it also does extremly well on straw to.

I grow them to. They have fast become one of my favorties, second to my all time favorite, the PF strain. I agree they do need a little extra casing and a little more time than other cubes. I have started many different strains all on the same day and they are always the last to pin and the last to be harvested. My experience has shown me that it almost appears that the mycellium is going to overtake the casing, then it starts to pin like crazy. I get great dense flushes with this strain. Oh well just thought I would thrown in my 2 cents.

I have grown alot of cuby strains and Mazatapac is my favorite! For me, it colonized very-very fast, faster than EQ, PF, Australian, Hawaiian, Mexican and Gulf Coast.
It also yields more than the others.
It does well in cakes or cased grain.
This is just my opion though. Not everybody uses the same teks, humidity, lights, temp. etc......
Your mileage may vary.
