That's a good question.

My guess is they don't burn because the salt solution is not concentrated enough to cause irritation.

iodine got somethin to do with it, i think they add iodine to shitty table salt, but i guess that there's iodine in seasalt( maybe even more, i don't know)

i think it's probably to do with concentration of salt in the amount of liquid, you tear ducts aint gonna excrete as much salt as even 3 or 4 grains of salt into your eye like if you put salt in your eye yourself

I dont know much about the salt content in tears but I remember somethin about an enzyme that hydrolyses the peptidoglycan layer in bacteria :nerd: Science bitches. It works!
