Can I trip on very young Trichocerei Peruviani?

I have grown a whole bunch of cacti (something like 200 peyote's and 200 peruvian torches). But my Peruvian Torches are only 13-14cm tall (5.5 inch) and 2.5-3cm width (1inch). Can I eat them and trip? How many of them should I eat?
Or didn't they produce any alkalo?ds yet?

yeah man, let them grow for a while. In a year they can be twice as big as now. be patient and be rewarded! :laugh:

peruvians are fairly slow growing. im of the mind its taken you quite some time to grow them (especially if youve grown them from seed which is really a bitch in the first place) . peruvian torch cacti are somewhat stronger than the san pedro, BUT if your growing these cacti for consumption, i would recomend holding off on the peruvians and ordering or aquiring a san pedro cutting. if you do happen to get ahold of one, make sure its large enough to cut a section 4" to 6" from for planting. san pedro is a fast growing cacti, so if you plant some, youll ALWAYS have a supply. ill post specific growing info from cutting later on in this or another forum......
