I'm thinkin that we should have movie nights. Zune lets you let 7 people watch movies with you at once, and it would save us money. I'd be willing to pay for the first.

I don't have a zune but I do have an XBOX 360.

no you dont need a zune, its a program for the xbox, just go to video marketplace.

yeah thats kinda lame.

im pretty sure if we really want to get something like this together it can be done on UStream or something similar. i know its possible.

talked to my buddy who does this.

it can be done with http://www.livestream.com. pretty sure you can stream any video file on your computer. ive never set it up before but im pretty sure whoever is hosting the file needs to be connected the whole time.

whoever is hosting it might need to download a piece of software but im not sure.

cant check it at the moment. for some reason im not connecting to it right now.. either crappy comcast or they are doing something on their end.

there is a chat thing on the page also. we could do that or just jump into an irc channel.

Damn, I'm a computer tech and i'm clueless, unless ya'll wanna do something like http://www.cannabischat.net (great place to go if you need help growing buds and just chilling)

As for live stream, i think the station i work for pays for their service, then again we have a livestream life (or live) pack. Basically it streams live footage wirelessly over 3 separate 3g carriers and uses 6 modems i think. Hd and all that too.

A shroomery game night is just as good as a movie night in my opinion.
