Mushroomy Christmas LISTEN on the web!
    #1168638 - 12/24/02 10:35 PM (14 years, 1 month ago)

The Radio show that features James Arthur called Psychedelic Origins of Christmas is available for listening anytime via Windows Media player on the show archives. It was a very interesting listen.

http://crncast.com/Rense_Archives.htm

Also there is a slideshow to watch while listening (which I think is a really cool addition) and you can check out the slides here:

If you read this and check it out please bump it to the top by posting a bump so everyone gets to listen.

Here's the direct link.

It was the longest, most boring conversation on an interesting subject that I have ever listened to. That Rense guy got on my nerves.

LoL
Jeff Rense is a hardcore academic...he's certainly not entertaining in the least..
IMHO James Arthur reads waaay too much into percieved "symbolism" and makes connections that may not be real in order to make his theories seem more plausible.
Then again, he's done waaay more research about this side of our history than I ever will and he may be right about Jesus actually being the anthropomorphized representation of ancient people's mushroom experiences....

I reamin open minded. There's just so much information about Christ and our ancient religions out there I can't entirely believe anyone who thinks they have the answers to what it's all really about....but it certainly is intruiging and incredibly boring.

Are you saying that James Arthur is a liar? What connections does he make that may not be real in order to make his theories seem more plausible? This would be very disturbing indeed!

Not saying he's a liar...definately not.
He's not out to decieve anyone and I can only guess by my emotional perception that his intentions are nothing but pure.

He seems a bit eager to tie up every subject they talk about with a nice mushroomy bow that leads everything back to amanitas, that's all.

I have no real basis for contradicting anything he claims because, like I said, he's done the research.  Just doing my part as the "peanut gallery", I suppose.
