a nice pair of smart wool socks!  that's one thing i asked my mother for.  relatively inexpensive gift that'll come in goddamned handy for the next few years.

you're a college student?  does your campus have a disc golf course?  if so, you should ask for a disc or two and give it a shot.  best fucking way to waste away a summer day.

huge monitors are cheap as fuck these days.  you could get a 24" monitor for like 200 bucks on newegg.

or maybe just ask for a gift certificate to amazon?  tons of options there.

well i haven't got the firsthand experience yet.  but i've read and heard many good things.  properly taken care of, they'll last like ten years.  they keep your feet more dry.  they're odor resistant.  and being that they're wool, i'd imagine they're prolly pretty toasty.

I have 3 discs and play occasionally! :cool:

Amazon is not a bad idea... and yeah wool socks would be good if i ever go on that camping TRIP ive been planning for a while now... and good for pond hockey...

i dunno.  i usually just ask for money but this year my mom refused to give it to me to.  she straight up said it was because she didn't want me to use it on "going to the bar and partying" while i am home.  LOL.

think about things you want/need but would never or could never buy for yourself.

i am getting a pimped out camelbak and a LED hula hoop for festival season.  trip to vegas from my grandfather and then probably a little bit of money and some other odds and ends....

Yeah she pretty much told me the same thing... I have a pretty nice camelbak, its just a little too small... i feel bad asking for another one, ya kno? its not really something i need. good idea though. I got a few long months left before im 21 so the vegas trip will have to wait til next xmas... haha sounds great though...


Also... maybe something to make my room cooler? make it a better trip/smoke environment... like cool posters... or... something... I have a Bose iPod dock, so music is taken care of... idk... any ideas?
