"fake" pixel art?

#11629364 - 12/11/09 11:09 AM (16 years, 9 months ago)

Any photoshop gurus?

I'm looking for ways to take a picture and pixelate it (maybe reduce color amount to 15 bit) to stimulate old retro pixel art graphics (super nintendo, etc). Obviously it won't be as good as genuine pixel art, but if it's somewhat close that's good enough. Only method I've found online so far is using that crappy mosaic filter.

Help a brotha out..

edit: ooo this might help me: http://www.polycrystal.org/tutorials/legomosaic.html
