O'Neal (or the douche that replaced him later on, forgot his name) with the leader (forgot his name to) of Atlantis, Daniel with Mckay, Carter with Tela, Teal'c with Ronan.

I see what you're saying...

Atlantis was kind of a rip of SG-1.

The problem I had with Universe was that it was a rip of corny action movies.

Also, the main character is a total womanizing douche bag, how are you supposed to like him?

I think Rush is going to turn out to have much more depth.
his character has been taking the longest to build and it's still unclear as to what his actual intentions are
(is he in on some conspiracy? is he insane?).

My beef is more with the whiny selfish chick who constantly restates how much she misses her father (who wasn't even really a likable character to begin with, given the 10 minutes of screen time he had on the show.)

I started watching it in jail, do you know how hard it is to get the TV
changed from springer, cops or some other show about being locked up
when you're in jail... damn near impossible, why the hell do inmates
insist on watching shit about being locked up, you'd think they would
want a distraction from their own lives for a minute

I was impressed with the characters from the first episode I watched,
scifi started bouncing it around in the time slots so I couldnt keep up
with it, I had to download all the episodes

I think Rush is actually an alien in disguise. perhaps even the "Lucifer" of the stargate universe. Remember how he said he was certain of the possibility of Ascension? seemingly almost as if he had achieved it before himself? perhaps he is the "fallen angel" and is in the process of developing a conspiracy of some sort to try to ascend again?

I thought the whole bringing in of a fat nerdy character who is in his late 20's and still lives in his moms basement so that the fans have someone they can personally relate to was pretty lame.
