He is right. A young guy that loses it with a new partner is getting too much anxiety and killing their erection. Two things that will work:

Chill out and stop worrying about your hard on. Go down on her or something. If you stop thinking about it and learn to relax, you start getting used to the intimacy and it will eventually come back. If condoms give you anxiety, just ask your girl to put it on.

It's not that he's gay.

This happened to me last week.  I partied and met this chick, we made out and were into it.  Went back to her place but by the time we got there we were both very tired and sketching.  She sucked on it to get it hard and it worked but as soon as I flipped her on her back to get it in I went soft.

Yep while I sit in class 9 times out of 10 I get a "boredom erection" nothing sexual about them blood starts flowing and I think "ahh that feels good" and I get a huge ass boner.
