I'm ok with the way I look, regardless of the fact that I always notice my butt is kinda big.

As a bodybuilder/fitness/aesthetics enthusiast I find my looking at the mirror an average of like 30 min - 1 hr/day.  It's disgusting really.

I am proud of my body.  I know I look good.  People aspire to have the physique that I do and the younger guys at my gym are always in admiration and asking me either for tips/training.

And still I am an insecure little boy at times.

So having the body=/=having what you really want.  Fearlessness.

On bad days I will can be extremely hard/critical on myself and put a lot of pressure on myself to train harder and look better.  If I don't manage to feel better about where I am with my training and physical stature, it can put me in a bad mood.  But usually once I am around other people outside the gym, my mood elevates as soon as people start making either A) compliments, or B) not looking as physically compelling as I do.

On good days I'll have a good workout, a good pump, I'll see myself and feel good about what I'm looking at in the full-body mirror in my room, get out the house and strut my shit.

So yea, I'm enjoying my body-temple experience, though there are some things I should ideally change.  My training and my body do being me A LOT of happiness.  Especially on MDMA.  The way my body/muscle feel/look, so functional.  It feels great.

And to top this all off with a humble ol' message: any of you who have bodies which begets unhappiness for you, start training.  So if your body brings you darkness, transform it into a body that brings you light.

If you are happy with where you are, however you are, do whatever else that it is that makes you happy.  If it ain't nothing broke, don't fix it.

On a normal day when I look in the mirror I don't think much. Usually something along the lines of "Oh, its that crazy fucker again."

Occasionally I'll stop and stare at myself and wonder what other people think when they look at me. I have shoulder length wavy hair (I'm a guy), so I kind of have a unique look. But I get compliments and several girls have called me sexy...so sometimes I stop and wonder...what the hell is it about me that is sexy?

But usually I'm too trapped up in other thoughts to be concerned about how I look. I shave every couple days, clean my hair every day, and do sit ups/push ups several times a week. Thats enough for me...other than that I try to focus more on whats inside then whats outside.

I have a full length mirror in my room.  I think I look OK.  I don't really care to impress anyone else, and I'm thin, so I'm not worried about my image healthwise.

But yeah, I'll look at myself in a full length mirror on a daily basis.  Usually just to make sure my hair is fine.  Use it to brush my hair and such.  It's the only mirror in my room.  If I'm tripping I'll spend a bit more time watching my body warp.

I look in the mirror whenever possible because I feel like it re-calibrates my mind: if I don't look at myself I feel like I don't know what kind of facial expressions or gestures I am making. I've been told on a couple occasions that I made "evil" faces. Can't have that happening.

I'm pretty meh about how I look nowadays. I'm more of an intellectual than a physical type, and put great effort into developing my knowledge, character and conscience. I think I'm getting more and more disassociated from my body really. I am the ME in my head-the thing I see in the mirror is the vehicle I'm forced to ride around in. It has it's plus points and minus points, as all vehicles do, but it doesn't define me any more than my car does.

That said, that's all just because I'm pretty self secure these days. Back in the day, it wasn't so, and I would study my mirror image for imperfections and found them aplenty. These days, looking in the mirror, I mostly judge objectively how I look so I can transpose that image onto other people in my dealings with them. It helps to know if I'm smart, scruffy, cool, geeky, sexy, scruffy, whatever.
Though these days, I've taken to wearing some mildly outlandish stuff, just because I like it and fuck the world. Most of this winter I've been walking around in a full length leather coat and leather cowboy hat. And I'm in the UK-people don't really know what to make of me here.
Kids seem to love me, though, which is a laugh.

As to looking at myself in the mirror naked, I tend to do it logically and objectively. I think I'm pretty lucky. I'm by no means anything special at all, and I don't see myself as really that attractive at all. But I tick some of the guy boxes-I'm tall (6'3), I'm fairly broad and muscular and my face is alright. I don't look overweight, but I am, especially if you go by BMI. Luckily, because of my frame, it hides very well, and when I'm dressed, I look very fit. I have a bit of a beer gut and love handles, but not noticeable in clothes. I also have a smallish pair of moobs, but again, I get away with it.

Like I said, I'm fairly impassionate about myself in the mirror. I am what I am. And as far as I'm concerned, what I am is really who I am.
And to hell with everyone who thinks differently, frankly, their opinion is uninformed and less important.
