    #11468579 -

I won a pair of tix from a local college radio station Monday to see him this weekend.... UPDATE ...11/18/09 ...So I find out that my brother's flying in from Atlanta on Fri. and wants to hang out Sat. (the day of the show), but I only have two seats.  So what does my wife do ?? Wins another pair of tix to see Bela from the same station this morning...WFDU 89.1, the voice of Fairleigh Dickinson University.  Back in July, I won a pair of tix from WFDU to see Levon Helm at his studio in Woodstock... These guys rock !!

Bela Fleck and the Flecktones were one of the headliners of one of Syracuse's jazz fests a few years back. It was definitely amazing. Saw him at the Newport Jazz Fest with a different group. Not quite as good (nor free) but it was still awesome.

Enjoy the show man.

Edit: I take that back. The second group was fucking sick too. It was him, Jean-Luc Ponty, and Stanley Clarke.
