There's a new Flaming Lips album out called Embryonic. It's pretty good.
Shpongle is cool, The Cat Empire, Balkan Beat Box, Easy Star All Stars, Kidney Thieves, KMFDM, Long Beach Dub Allstars...... For a few.

wow, thanks for the tip on the Black Angels, very Doors sounding with a modern twist.


check out Omar Rodriguez-Lopez Group if you like progressive/jam/jazz/fusion stuff. Omar is the guitarist from the Mars Volta.
this video really gets good at around 2:50, Thomas Pridgen is one of the best drummers ever.




I have also been listening to John Frusciante's The Empyrean CD, very psychedelic. Plus if you like guitar stuff John Frusciante is great.
