Despite the relatively poor performing Australian Cubensis varieties other than the Tasmanian available currently around the OMC, I have two or three new variaties here that have generally outperformed many vendor varieties. I am just sounding out the general interest in these varieties.

well i'm just a newbie, so what do i know, but i reckon there'll be a lot of interest.
i'm still too green to even understand the difference between strains - as far as i'm still concerned, there's lots of cubensis types, and as soon as i've tried most of them, i'm moving on to azures and cyans. but for people who want to 'collect them all' , as it were, i'd imagine that if they're different, people will want them.
PM me to swap a print for another type.

ill be sending these possibly to the FSR or TLG for testing out to see what people think. Growing parameters are as per any other cubensis - they are now quite domesticated and are performing well on a variety of substrates.
Tend towards large mushrooms and potency is good or I wouldnt be bothering

Whats so special about these strains that we should run out and buy them? Cuz I noticed so many are alike with just different names so you think you have to spend more money. Sounds like just a ploy by vendors to suck us into spending more money.

Different trips? Thats bullshit, they all contain the same chemicals. Again, jsut a ploy by vendors to sponge our money and looks like your one of the suckers that falls for it!
If they have an usual characteistics that give them a definite different look than the others than it would be interesting but like I say, many of them seem so much alike with just a different nametag.
I grew the Aussi and Taz, they were alike. i also grew a Woolingong that looked different but I want to know if these new ones also have a different look that is worth trying for. Or are they just another cub that we 'must spend money on'?

Have you grown out every single strain of cubensis? Probably not. There are slight differences. Same with any other thing you can grow, there will be color variations, shape and size variations.
Environmental conditions that are set up in your terrarium may favor a certain strain better than others. Its just fun to see how much differences you get in the same conditions.
And I have witnessed first hadn the differences in potency in a strain.

I havn't grown them ALL out but I've grown enough to notice that many are virtually the same. Don't get me wrong, there are some cool strains that definately have thier own look but no one will convince me to spend more money on a new strain just because it might have a 'slight' difference. I've seen slight differences within the same patch, same with potency, that can vary from shroom to shroom as well.
As for different trips, anyone who tells you this strain will give you a spiritual high and this one will give you great visuals and this will make you see Sammy Davis Jr sing and dance, well, they are just SALESMEN trying to suck you in!
Your trip has more to do with your personal being, time and setting then what strain you are eating.

Nah - ive just not been logged on - your print of each is already guaranteed PJ as im sure i owe you atleast a few!
Psillyguy - to be honest Im not here to promote vendors and Im not expecting any $$ from these cubensis varieties, so Im not going to degrade myself and try and 'pitch' them to you.
If you had grown a few different cubensi varieties then you would know that at maturity in terms of colour, texture, size, spore size, microscopic features, potency and yields there are significant differences in cubensis spore races - if you grow out Tasmanians and B+ or GTs and Pf Classic im sure you'll realise what i mean.
The differences in potency and alkaloid ratios of different cubensis varieties is documented and proven (aND IM not just talking about psilocybin/psilocin but other related alkaloids)
Check Stivje and DeMeijer study on mexican and Amazonian cubensis published in 1993?
Generally the 'all cubensis are the same' routine is usually piped by people who have grown a few and not that many cubensis - trust me there are differences - and sometimes quite significant ones.
When i have a good stock of each ill send them to Boxtop, PJ and a few others for demonstration. Might need a month or so though...

If youve grown Australian vendor and Tasmanian cubensis and they were alike, then they were mislabelled. The original Tasmanian cubensis from Sporeworks is totally unique and quite unlike any other cubensis ive come across - its spores are a totally different size to other native cubensis - I doubt it is really from Tasmania (sorry BIO)

Ok, well, I'll tell you what a wise one once told me (thanks Road) Grow out gulf coast and cambodians. Wait at least a month without tripping and eat 3 dry grams of Gulf Coast, then wait at least a month and eat 3 dry grams of Cambodian. Then see what you think about the difference between strains. Try it, its fun.
