Australian Casing Wont Fruit!
    #1043779 - 11/11/02 04:37 PM (15 years, 13 days ago)

My friend has some pf cakes cased in vermiculite in a terrarium. His thailand casings are fruiting nicely, but the australian casings are not fruiting at all. There is healthy mycelium growth on the surface, but not fruits or even pins. If the casings are cased the same and in the same terrarium what could be the problem? (they've been in the terrarium a little over two weeks) thanks

this information is for your piece of mind
Thai strains fruit faster than an other strain out there. The Australians are gonna take about an extra 7-14 days to pin.
The Thai's pin very quickly especially Thai ks.
Yuor gonna have to wait em out.

Patience~! Most AUstralian cubensis available in the US have been poorly domesticated - may take time to fruit.
