holy fuck. headrush.

i just stood up to go take a piss and had the most intense head rush of my life.  also, i'm completely sober. 

apparently my posture while sitting was not conducive to proper blood flow because shortly after standing up, shit went black and i couldn't stand still.  i actually ended up falling against a wall while trying to stay straight.  my hands kinda went numb and were moving in slight circles.  and my toes tingled.

that was fucking crazy.  i usually rather like having intense headrushes.  but that was almost worrisome.

oh well, i'm gonna go take that piss now.  and probably deal with the whole sober thing.

Lol nice.  I always get head rushes like that shit when i'm fucked up and have been sitting down for a while.  I recently started doing headstands & stuff - they give me super headrushes if i do 'em while fucked upl

headstand as opposed to handstand?  why headstands? 

also, doesn't that hurt your head?  although, i suppose over time it'd make your skull harder.

Why headstands as opposed to handstands? 
1) Because now I can do this (yes, this is me).  It's a great ab core workout.






2) Because handstands require a lot of shoulder strength that I don't have yet.  I mean - I can do them for a while, and can knock out a few hand-stand pushups --- but I gotta do 'em against a wall.  I'm workin on it though.

I do it drunk/high/both all the time.  I fell last night - made a LOUD ASS bang at like 3am.  Downstairs neighbor came upstairs to make sure I was ok, lol.

man.  i should really do some sit ups.  and pushups.  haven't worked out in ages.

although honestly, i'm fucking ecstatic that i look as fit as i do for not having stepped in a gym for like... 2 years.  holy fuck.  how has it been that long!?  christ.  still.  i'm nowhere close to being chubby.  there may be a bit more padding over my abs than i'd like but i can still feel definition underneath, and almost see it in the right light.

but i should really do some crunches.  at least for the next two weeks before i see ol' girl.

nah brah.  no buying of anything.  i'm in the middle of travels for the next 9 months.  btw... i don't even know what a kettle ball is.

but assuming i can get motivated, i'll do crunches up the middle and to each side, some human arrows and some leg lifts + six inches.  i used to have a 20-30 minute routine down in high school when i wrestled.  so the complete absence of body fat plus my short routine left me with fucking ripped abs.  i miss those abs.  even if they were lopsided as fuck.

You guys ever experience vision loss during a head rush. When I have a really strong head rush its like my vision goes black and all dotted from the outside of my vision inward in a circular form. It sort of slowly gets darker and darker around the eges and works its way in until I only have a little bit of visible non dark vision near the center. Really bad head rushes I almost cant see anything but blackness except for a bit in thecenter.



Is this normal? anyone else experience this with head rushes?

FWIW, sometimes coming in from the cold makes me temporarily higher than a kite. consciousness is a very weird thing. doesn't come with a warranty...

Sometimes i go completely blind when i get head rushes. It was fucking scary the first time it happend, i almost panicked but then it stopped

Happens from time to time. Sometimes when I get up and take a piss I lose vision while standing up. It usually comes back soon though.

its happened to me about 8-10 times in my life. Usually after smoking a lot of weed, sometimes after smoking a cigarette. the worst time i actually passed out, i was sitting cross legged on the ground and stood up too fast and the next thing i knew i was waking up with my face in the dirt lol. Other times i usually got fuzzy/black vision and my legs and arms will go into slight convlusions, nothing severe but they shake and i dont have complete control over them.
It scared the fuck out of me in the beginning but it never seemed to do any permanent damage  :bobmarley:

this was the first time i've ever experienced the minor convulsions in my arms.  the blackening of vision is fairly common for me in headrushes.

I seem to remember it happening a lot in school when we would have to stand up to do the pledge of allegiance. I would get light headed and my vision would go blurry and i would have to sit back down.

The most intense headrush i have ever had. (and it was ultra-intense)
i was trippin decently on some shrooms. chilling in the hottub with my brother and smoking some weed.
i remember getting out of the hottub and this weird feeling crept up all over my body.
then my head got this crazy euphoric feeling and my vision red/blacked out but there were all these crazy visuals going along with it.
i could tell it was a headrush but it was just so much more intense than normal.
it was an edifying moment :psychsplit:

i just had an intense rush, but not from standing up.  i was digging some holes to move some shrubs into, and smacked my hand into a wooden fence (narrow spacing between points), tearing off a few layers of skin in some places, hardly bled at all, but i went black and almost fell down, cold sweats and clammy, pale skin.  then when i tried to clean it and the dirt off my skin, it happened again


must've hit a nerve or had super low blood sugar
