old thread, but i love music festivals!! nothing better than good music, good drugs, and good people. went to summercamp this year.. going to attend hoxeyville as well.

Blackwater is going to be one of the best this year!! Flaming lips, Ghostland, Eoto all in the beautiful suwannee park... what more could one ask for? Sept 22-24 I cant wait!

I'm hitting Blackwater for sure.  In a flash of impulsiveness, my boss bought my ticket as a "perk of the job" as he described it.  :gethigh:  Haven't seen sector9 in a few years now, and I'm really excited to see them!!!!  WOO!  Plus the Flips aways throw it down.  Very excited for that too.  And archnemesis!  :awehigh:

I really want to go to blackwater. I'm thinking its going to be too hot to really enjoy myself but I might go anyways. I'll definitely be going to Bear Creek Festival at that same venue in November.

I went last year and did not find it to be unpleasant at all although it did rain quite a bit.  I seem to recall it being earlier in the year last year as well like late August or early September.  That being said, I live in the panhandle so I am used to 100 degrees, 100% humidity and 0 wind.  :cortez2:

Trust me the heat will be the last thing to worry about! Plus the venue is awesome and the suwanee river runs right threw it, a great way to beat the heat! And fuck yes archnemesis is so good!! Can not wait! They threw down at Electric forest but were put in a shitty stage, at blackwater they are goin to be epic in the perfect place!

But ya Bear Creek is going to be awesome to and a lot cooler.. the temperature change from the month between Blackwater and BC is pretty outrageous. I can't wait to get to see Gramatik, newly signed on Pretty Lights label!

never listened to them or knew much about the flaming lips before i saw them at kanrocksas. i was candyflipping, and i felt like i was gonna jizz in my pants the entire fuckin time!!!

went to Camp Bisco this year and last year...went to Electric Zoo last year and went to the Big Up this year

going to ID fest on saturday but its barely really even a festival

5 dollar walk in and 1 dollar all u can drink beer

might go to bella next year tho


anyone know some good festivals  with lots of psychedelics being passed around?

I usually try to get out to 3 or 4 fests each summer. Im goin to Tribal Equinox next month. Its a local fest, but there should be some good L goin around.
