Why is it that lately everyone is saying "son"?

"that shit is crazy son", "oh snap son"

That shit is really annoying son :rolleyes:

What annoying phrases or words makes you just want to hit someone in the balls?

you probably dont get in the states but in UK mainly liverpudlians use the word "boss" to describe something as good, and it really pisses me off. eg    "yesterday was so boss" it makes me feel sick when people say it

They also say "boss" on the east coast of the USA and in Canada.

West coast say "sick" for cool, and "hella"

Well no fucking shit it is what it is, I came to you to talk, ask advice, or get something more out of you because I deem you a friend, intelligent, or someone I can relate to.

Broad blanket statements of non-caring ftl.


We use "sick" in New England, or "boss", but they're generally few and far between. Only people with certain personalities use it, and it's kind of perceived as a light-hearted, near-lol friendly way. Like saying it to get a grin.

not in the south they don't.  i don't think i've heard anyone use the phrase "boss" in that manner since the 80s.
