I think this guy has a good representation of a Baltimore accent, but apparently he's from philly. Then again philly and Baltimore have similar accents, with Baltimore maybe having a bit more of a southern twang.

An upper class brittish accent sounds almost American. A lower class accent like a cockney dockworker sounds so rough its hard for us to understand.

That isn't even close to a cockney accent but is not upper class either.

The T's always give it away, when you get outside Philly people stop pronouncing water as wooder, but in SE PA O's aren't pronounced like "Oh" it almost sounds like an "oooh", that's the only way I can think to describe it.

Yes!!! That's exactly how I was trying to describe the pronunciation of O's in SE PA, I've never been able to adequately describe it. Definitely a weird mid-atlantic quirk.

I was watching last nights real time and one of the guests , Steve Schmidt, has what I would describe as a classic Philly accent.

I don't really dislike most accents
But I do wonder why Germans say Wham-pire instead of Vampire. The have a goddamn V sound! they do!

Of Americans, a particularly strong southern accent.
I'm from the south, so it has to be pretty strong to not just sound "normal".

The Midwest doesn't have an accent. It is the most neutral version of the enlgish language. Most voice actors for commercials and shit are from here.

Dude, the midwest TOTALLY has an accent.
Instead of bag, they say bayg. or instead of eggs, aygs. Somewhat similar to a scandinavian accent.

I've never heard any of that. Well maybe the bayg one. Just from old people.

In fact, there is a guy in my Tinychat room who has a notable midwestern accent. Sometimes I make fun of him for it. Case in point: People really do sound like the people in Fargo, sometimes.

That is a little different. They get more of a cross from the mormans and Canadians. Weird shit.

You'd be surprised, but in every state/territory in Australia, the accents do differ, quite a lot sometimes too.
I personally like the laid back slangy Victorian accent because it's within my lingo.
Of watching movies, the Southern American accent is so sexy on a girl for me.
Of the whole English First Langauge countries... nothing is better than a strong crisp Irish accent on a red/blonde haired Irish girl.. SO DAMN SEXY.
