quite possibly the holy grail of art, the greatest website on the internet.
    #11389024 -

(next to shroomery of course!)

hey guys, i've been obsessed with this website for a few months now:

http://butdoesitfloat.com/

it is an art blog that features the most amazing works from all periods and styles of art, it has no boundaries to its endless parade of beauty.

in this website you will find the most insightful words and images you'll ever feast your eyes on, and i just wanted to share it with my fellow shroomerites.

here's the challenge! try scrolling to the bottom! i've spent hours and hours on this website trying to reach the bottom. it might possibly be the greatest archive of unknown and amazing art on the internet.

anyone else been to this site? i could see myself spending an entire trip just scrolling down! imagine the ease and pleasure of just using one hand motion to consistently fill your life with joy!

i dare say this website brings me to states of bliss i've only experienced on shrooms.

(i found my sig here!) there is literally something for everyone! if you see something you like post it in this thread! i'll start with this one:

i looked at the first 50 or so and it seems like the curator has terrible taste in art.

i'm not really into those kinds of things though, and i'd rather not scroll through hundreds of pictures of crap to find something i like.

I only liked the first picture.

All the rest were pretty much trash.

But the first picture is AWESOME.

Love it, saved it, will show others.

its funny.  looking at this website completely reminds me that basically: artists are the same dumb assholes as everyone else who decided to try and get pussy/money through art instead of baseball or physics.

like with everything in life, true vision or genius level of skill is an extraordinarily rare thing.

i'm just glad i live in 2009 where i have access to tons of stuff from all over the world so i have a better chance of seeing the top .01% stuff.

i agree with you that it's all subjective.
why don't we take this into a positive direction and share some areas of the internet that you might classify as .01% material?

i also like http://youthewhoa.blogspot.com/ http://sweet-station.com/ and http://theworldsbestever.com/

interested to see your input and classification of good art.
