Who here can solve Rubix Cubes?

I've got to the point where I have a whole white square and a colored "T" of each adjoining sides.

My step brother knows the algorithm to them and can solve them in less than 2 minutes.

I hate them though.

I had a classmate that could solve one in any configuration in 20 - 25 seconds.  He sucked at everything else though... :lol:

They are easy man google it.

I learned all the algorithms via google a few years ago, and in like 3 days I could solve it in 1-2 minutes.

I would give you specific help...but I have forgotten some of it and im nicely high

I can solve one side of it :shrug: I know a kid who used to do nothing all day but play with rubik cubes and he could solve em in like 20-30 seconds. Now it's Guitar Hero. Pretty sure he has no friends.Btw this was in Highschool.

i can get the top 1/3 complete (so like the complete top surface and two rows on each side) but need a guide for the rest :sad:

Yeah, it's just an algorithm and once you memorize that it's easy and there really isn't any skill to it except getting the timing down.

I have a few friends who can do them in under a minute. One does it while looking straight at me and only glances down a few times.

they're pretty easy if you read the book its like knowing a phone number to get a certain set of blocks to change i had done it in under five and im no genius
i can remember how to do it now though that was a while ago

I always complete them when I'm high or tripping. It's an awesome feeling. haha. I think I actually made a thread about solving Rubik's cubes whilst high/tripping not too long ago. haha.

Hehe, my lady just bought me a 3x3 cube a couple of weeks ago, along with a book that goes into the history of puzzle games and tells you how to solve the cube.

I haven't read the book yet... and I haven't solved the cube either! :crazy2:

I can solve one in a minute or two.  It's easy - simple algorithm that if you repeat enough times (theres 7 steps) it solves it.  If you buy one from Walmart it comes with instructions - very easy to follow.

Easy to impress people :thumbup:

there is no way in hell anyone  could solve that just by playing with it! you'd have to have a guide...i mean...i dont know much about the math behind rubix cubes, but from what i understand a 7x7 cube would require a pencil and paper.

haha the i have the algorithms memorized up until the last step of solving the bottom 3x1 row of the cube. then i gotta break out the guide. i cant memorize three different algorithms for one step and then remember which algorithm goes to which cube pattern

I had one, never finished it, some bitch ripped all the stickers off it and put them back so that all the faces were full and normal, but it just ruined the whole thing for me. mainly cause the stickers are all falling off.

My fastest solving time was about fifty seconds.  I've since forgotten how to complete the third layer, though... like others have said there's really no skill involved beyond sheer memorization, fast reflexes, and good lube for yer cube.  :naughty:
