Rubix Cube Art piece

I saw this the other night on my school campus whilst stoned and playing frisbee golf  :smile:, freaked the hell out of me and my friends. In person it is way more intense and fascinating though.

I am not sure what the piece means or what it is saying, I kind of took it as a countdown to something ominous. When the rubix cube finishes, something bad will happen. But it completes itself, and then just keeps going  :smile:  pretty cool!

so that big white square thing is the cube at night?

yes, i am not sure how it is done, some sort of projection obviously, but it must be lit from inside cuz there was nothing outside.

it's at Whitman College in southeastern WA. a liberal arts school.
