What else to use besides limewire...

I want a download program similar to limewire, search-> browse-> doubleclick downloads, not like downloading torrents....

Uh, just use torrents? Most of those programs are loaded with spyware. Give you shitty copies of the songs. Slow down your computer. What is your reasoning for not using torrents? Its much safer and easier to use.

yeah limewire and bearshare are shit. can download a movie with torrents in like 5-10 minutes. used to take me 8 hours with limewire

its easyer to find what im looking for in limewire i dont have to check 5 different websites for best seeders, or for the actual file...

Isohunt has pretty much everything. It SHOWS you how many seeds there are. Want the RIAA to come? Keep using programs like bearshare.

I have never had any negative issues using torrents for music, much more than I can say about limewire, that program fucked my computer more than once with its shit infected files.
Torrents aren't hard to use, you just have to adapt a new set of skills when it comes to using/finding the files. Once you've gotten used to them, its easy as cake.
Those old file sharing programs are obsolete, jump on the torrent bandwagon

I use vuze which is apparently a torrent.  My brother downloaded it for me 'cuse I wasn't sure which of the like 9283748273 torrents to get.  It allows you to download full band discographies.  Pretty badass.  Every song the Grateful Dead has ever put on an album in an hour.  Usually all the songs are tagged already and separated into folders by album and everything.  Wouldn't use anything else. :laugh:

Frostwire. It's pretty much a more secure Limewire. (Go figure.)

Torrents or Soulseek.  I use SLSK (soulseek) all the time for albums and songs, though I download entire discographies via torrents.  It allows me to check out tunes before I torrent the entire discography.

Exactly and when you're a member of private sites it doesn't matter if there's only 5 seeds, the speeds are astounding.  Learn torrents.
