Old doc martins when they were still made in the uk.

I have a pair of wingtips that are 15 years old and holding up great!

Been wearing Skechers for >5 years now. They add 2-3" and aren't as expensive as Doc's. They wear out fast as hell, though. My longest pair lasted maybe 6 months.

I just started going back to sneakers this last summer. I don't even know what they are, but it's weird lugging heavy ass boots around and then going basically to socks. I'm not really the kind of guy you'd look at and expect him to be sporting a pair of sneakers.

I've worn vans since grade 3. I switched to slip ons when I found out they were still being made in 9th grade. I still wear slip ons.

Doc Martens for casual wear, flip flops or sneakers in the summer.  Crocs around water.

I've had three pairs, there are trippy designs on them, they are anti-microbial, all terrain, waterproof, more durable than most sandals(last a couple years).

Either my black Doc Martin 10 eye steel toes, my clarks, or my rainbow sandals. Leather footwear is the best.

I've also got some kind of like this.

Sperry's sandals are the shit. 
Most comfortable sandal evar. 
Feels like walking on titties.

But I love my Chacos too.

a nice warm pair of hunting boots. if not that and too lazy to lace em up, its usually just crocs (even though those things are freakin dangerous when it's wet out).
