You're not wrong, and you know that.
The only shitty part about someone caring for you like that is that you're taking away his or her control. Problem being is that control is impaired later that night. A vehicle is already a dangerous weapon to begin with.
I really regretted the times people have said "Man, I'll drop you off and get you" and I ignored them. Then I feel like 10x the asshole sitting in their car while I've gotta find a way to get mine home in the morning.

^^ Agreed. Drunk driving is a violent crime and drunk drivers are among the most dangerous of murderers in the country. Tens of thousands of people get killed by them every year, forget the DUI - you shouldn't drive drunk to avoid being a murderer.

i think one can learn to drive drunk quite well with enough practice. its actually not too hard aslong as you got the mindset of driving slowly and fallowing the lines on the road to the best of my abilities.i could see where a first time drunk driver gets behind the wheel and thinks everythings a big joke and drived 100mph all over the place swerving like a tard.

That is irrelevant. Driving is not about 'fallowing' the lines and going slowly - it about reacting quickly and responsibly when things dont go as planned. Anybody who thinks they can learn to do that while drunk is a tard.

What happens when you're concentrating so hard on following the lines properly and some dude is crossing the street? Or the light turns red? Are people who drive drunk just that ignorant or just that stupid, or both?
