If the conditions are right, you can store fresh mushrooms in the fridge for about a week, maybe a little longer, but they will rot eventually.
Storing dried mushrooms in the fridge is a good idea. They'll keep longer and the potency won't break down as fast. What you need to watch out for is condensation. Put the dried mushrooms in an air-tight container with a packet of dessicant inside, otherwise when you put in the fridge condensation might for on the walls of the jar and then it could contaminate.
