Are you talking about the yellow goo that pools up on you're hpoo after about the 3rd. or 4th. flush?? I get it all the time!! If I let it dry out it almost turns into a hard crust..I've always thought it to be rather strange and only happens in my test bags not in my Mono's But usually inhibits me to try for any more than 5 flushes I did leave one for a long time and after a long lull of activity it finally spit out one monster fruit right from the center it was like it's grand finale.......e

That jar is toast. It's been ruined by a massive bacterial infection.

Metabolites are little splotches or dots of red, brown, or yellow liquid that indicate the mycelium is stressed. Your jar, on the other hand, is a humongous cluster fuck of soggy substrate.

Review your sterile technique and sterilization procedures.

there are no brown liquid, it's just like cave in substrate. And maybe it can be something like that: ''There are 2 exceptions. The colors blue and yellow are not always immediately a contamination:
1. Blue. When the mycelium has been bruised, it turns bluish. This is no contamination and has no consequences for the quality of the mycelium.
2. Yellow. When mycelium gets older it can start to form small yellow dots, sometimes this even becomes a yellowish slimy substance. This mostly happens with fully colonized jars/bags which stand to long in the incubation room. This yellow transforming is a natural resistance of the mycelium and acts as an extra shield against bacteria and other contaminations. It is important that this mycelium is immediately placed into the fruiting conditions. ''

Trust me, those aren't metabolites. While some metabolites might be in that gunk, your jar has been cluster fucked with bacteria.

That is a very sick jar. I'm not familiar with metabolites being that color or gloopy or that large. I'd bury it somewere and sterilize the shit out of that jar if you plan to reuse it. That is yicky.  :puke:

If it is contaminated throw it out no matter what okay. Even if it's just a little.

Fruits from contam'd cakes are not safe to eat.

Dude TRUST me don't even try to fruit that. Like seriously, don't.

believe it or not there are less bacteria in nature then there are indoors. bacteria has a hard time colonizing when there is fresh air.

I cannot get you a similar picture because I don't know what kind of bacteria that is, but it is contaminated and should be thrown away. When you are disposing of it try not to breathe around it some mold can end your life, not an exageration.

That jar is colonized now and there is no bacteria anymore. I mean all jar is white and that sticky stuff like i found in some site is because i didnt get jars to normal conditions about 3-4 first days. There were only 18 degrees, so because of that slimmy substance like mine can be there in jar. Everything is allright, thats not bacteria man, I did talk to prof now. Its because wet jars were in bad conditions to grow for a long period of time. one of my jars is really sick because there is no colonization, only a little mycelium with dark-pink bacteria  thanks for all ;] Its nice that a lot of u is ready to help all the time  c u in next post

that jar is skanky and most likely, as previously stated, a bacterial contamination that you won't be able to recover from.
