Yea he should definitely go I can't be the person to ID it especially without seeing it...But from what I know about poisonous mushrooms n what not it doesn't resemble any that I'm aware of and I try to keep up with the serious ones...And psychedelic ones. :lol:

I would recommend, if not for the sake of your conscience, then for his safety restricting him from any information on the matter and disconnecting all ties with him. He did exactly what you told him not to do; doesn't sound like a very good "friend" to me. I doubt, even if given all the right information, he would be any better off.

well apperntly he just eats whatever he finds, i really feel pissed about his idea on the subject... now i understand how ppl die from mushrooms evry year. but still i just needed to help. i cant live with that on my conscience.

Well, don't. He DID IT TO HIMSELF. I don't like the idea of suffering, especially of the innocent. But he should have better judgment.  I agree with Nachohippie: I don't want the stupid fuck stealing my oxygen.

Ipecac won't work unless you do it right away, I would imagine.

It is unlikely to be deadly poisonous. I am no expert, but cannot think of any poisonous mushrooms that grow off of living maples.

im no expert on mushrooms, just quite enjoying hunting and attempting to ID in vain, but if your friend is already on his way to hospital, how do you deem posting messages on here to tell everybody as 'Trying to help' surely you cant do anything sat at your desk. take it easy ffs just hope your friend gets better and learns to take warnings seriously, i think on almost every page which mentions wild mushrooms its details all implications with such a risky hobby so in nachos defense there is not excuse for eating unid'd wild mushrooms except stupidity.......

a lot of the info i have states that about 15 minutes after ingestion whats done is done...  and agreeing with MHbound, there are a few that will kill you, know those first... 
my question to you matt is simply, if you told him not to eat something and he chose to do it anyhow, why do you feel responsible for his choices?
