Here's a little back story... I have basically loved pain killers since I broke my arm about 7-8 years ago. They were not a problem until oxy and poppies came a habit around 3-4 years ago. Then heroin came into the picture. For the past 2 years I have been using it every day. I tried quitting numerous times and suboxone helped, but I didn't have enough time and suboxone so I eventually slipped up and continued again. The very best I did was actually because of the wonderful drug MDMA... The experience was so therapeutically that it gave me the motivation and strength I needed to quit(along with some suboxone)! Unfortunately about a month or so after that, a lot of stuff went down and I went through an extremely bad depression which eventually turned me back on to the dope again.
I have been wanting to quit for too long to remember but I continually failed trying. If I have about month, possibly two months of suboxone, I will be able to quit. My problem is there was no way to financially get them. IF you asked how I got the opiates all the time, I basically made money selling to one person who was also addicted. Neither my parents nor a SINGLE one of my friends knew my problem, so I had NO ONE to turn to.
Sorry about the length of this post but this it is very important for me to get this off my chest, but here comes the most difficult decision I made today... I told the LAST person I EVER wanted to find out about all this, and that was my father. I knew he would totally understand and help, but I was SO ashamed. I had no other choice but to tell him. It was a good thing I did because he was very caring about it. This was a HUUGE step for me and now I am going to be opiate free
Any advice or tips about quitting, suboxone, diets, exercises, meditation ETC... let me know
