I saw Akira like 3 or 4 years ago.

It was weird.

I love it. Also check out the Ninja Scroll series. Fuck, there was another movie but it slipped my mind.

I got an Amazon.com gift card for a present.  I purchased the Cowboy Bebop Box Set.  It's worth it.

Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away are great too.

Trigun is :awesome:

Cowboy Bebop is cool too. I've only seen a few episodes though but I have the whole series. Maybe I'll watch it soon.

I love watching anime  :flyhigh:

Cowboy Bebop is great. I have their whole soundtrack set on my iPod.

Look up the movie Karas: The Prophecy. It's an anime movie with really colorful fight scenes. It's very fun to :tripping: to.

any film by Miyazaki is win. you should also check out the movie "Paprika". It's crazy it's super trippy and about dreams and a device that allows people to see other's dreams to study them. crazy awesome.

i think spirited away is over rated and i hate the main character, and ponyo i havnt watched yet but the animation looks horribly simple.

Ponyo was animated completely in watercolor. have you any idea how tedious and difficult that is compared to digital/traditional animation?

ok i was unaware that it was watercolor(and yes i know how long it takes, see my subname-thing?) but still, ever seen any alexander petrov?

and too clarify my opinion a lil, spirited away was pretty to watch and starts out interesting but i just hate the ending and that ruins movies for me.

nice. I'm an majoring in animation. and that video is sweeet.

but check this out:

spirited away is my least favorite of his movies. I still like it, though. He sent his crew to a zoo for a week to study the mouths of wolves for that 3-second long scene where the dragon shows his teeth.

cowboy bebop is like the only anime ever that i can happily watch dubbed.  i don't know what makes it so special.  normally i loathe dubbing.  but the english voice actors for cowboy bebop pulled it off.

fucking love that show.
