if you eat them raw they will make you sick and if you eat enough raw they could possibly kill you try drying them in your oven on a metal baking tray at about 180f and when they are crisp like a cracker they are good to eat

Eating them raw will make you sick and you'll probably throw up.

At least fry them up, but its better to dry them in the sun for a few days or at least dry them cracker dry in a food dehydrator.

I like to fry small amounts, just enough for a side dish but not enough to have any serious effects.

They are good fried.

Don't fry too many or you may keep eating them until you are full and end up puking.

TRUST ME!!! DONT EAT THEM RAW!!!. I have had these mushrooms many times. i usuall have about 4 medium to large caps (cooked). I ate a single large Fly Agaric once, and it was not fun. The vomiting was fairly painful, and it was like my body was removing it from the deepest parts of my bowels.... I have never thrown up when they are cooked though, but i do sometimes get naseous and fairly close. Also keep in mind that these are not like the "Magic Mushrooms" you think of. i would definately do some research b4 consuming or you could be quite suprised. there can be some very strange side affects, such as crazy non-stop muscle spasms. they arent painful, but if you dont expect them i imagine you would be quite worried.

me and my friend consumed six grams each of the dried mushroom last night.

we made it into fine powder and ate it with yoghurt.

the effect was very minimal...

(hours of lying in front of the fire listening to beautiful music... and interesting thought patterns - but not at all what we were expecting)

any ideas about what happened?

larger doses required?

again, thanks, and lots of love

x

Well, what kind of trip did you expect? Amanita muscaria is a deliriant. It's effects are nothing like those of psilocybin. A higher dose would boost the effects you felt, but it wouldn't make you "trip" like on acid or psilocybin.

i guess because people talk about sickness and caution i was expecting a strong effect...

something altogether strange, maybe like a shamanic journey or ludic dreaming.

is 6grams considered a small dose?

thanks
