body pain while tripping...please help!

ok i posted about this awhile ago and only one person replied and he/she said it was probably mental not physical and i can tell you, after tripping a couple more times its not! ok heres the situation, if i sit or lay down while shrooming and then get back up i get a very intense pain in my right theigh...its like a really sharp pain all down my theigh thats there only for a little bit after i get up and begin walking around and then a couple days after i can still feel it in the mornings...anyone know why this is happening and any way to make it stop other than not sitting or laying down?

I sometimes get slight pains on certain strains of shrooms such as cyans but they only hurt for a short time and never after the trip...maybe get it checked out by a doctor?

I also get pains after tripping. For the next day or two my calf muscles hurt, it's a pain similar to cramp. I think it's probably due to dehydration, because when I'm tripping I hardly drink anything.

If tripping is hurting you and not enjoyable, then stop tripping :smile:

Otherwise; you may wanna get your leg checked out to make sure nothing permanent is happening, and then take the bad with the good my man :smile:

Id say go see a chiropracter or something. Doctors dont do anything for general pains. Just give u drugs..

Just leg cramps. This may also be because of the slightly lethargic effect of mushrooms.

Calcium depletion from the muscles. Psilocybin depletes calcium
from the users system. Calcium is essential to muscle functioning.
Without enough in one's body, muscles tend to cramp. If a person
chronically depletes their system of calcium, the muscles will
go to the skeletal system for a source. This sets up the body to
become osteoporotic.

My sister who is only 42 broke her arm in a relatively harmless fall
because she is a caffeine freak and does not replenish her calcium
stores. (Caffeine also leaches the human body of calcium)

As stated in this post, part of your symptoms could be from
dehydration. On the day you plan to have a mushroom experience,
drink plenty of water (at least a gallon), stretch the entire body
thoroughly during the day, and take a calcium supplement (the night
before [with food] and the morning of) but not before the actual
trip. Calcium will also retard the effects of the experience if taken right
before ingesting the fungi.

thanks for the replies guys! i hope my next trip is less painful using some of these tips! as for stop tripping, um...no! ill just continue even if every trip still hurts the ol'body!
