Yea, a word of warning: anything in his place is considered his unless you have a written agreement stating your tenant status. He could change the locks and keep all your tools and shit, if he got pissed enough. He would have legal right of way. Get something on paper, and just explain to him that you want to be %110 sure your satisfying the agreement because your both bros. Wouldnt want to jeopardize that etc.

Dont worry about making it technical. Just a man to man list of shit that you can refer back to periodically to make sure your doing everything you said as best you can.

That might not be a good idea. Especially if you are good friends...what's more important? Your shit, or your friend? If I invited someone into my house and they wanted me to sign an agreement I'd laugh wickedly and be like "Uhm, you can get the fuck out if you'd like. Well, you'd probably better just go." In a jokingly serious way. Fuck that.

agreed, although my friend and I are now still friends, this, superviser/reference worker relationship-living arrangement can become stressfull, and problemsome
