Who listens to trip-hop/downtempo?!

I'm trying to put together some songs for when my turntable and mixer come. I found some good songs from Massive Attack, Boards of Canada, Tipper, and Aphex Twin. Also, 5 shrooms to anyone who can recommend some good loop packs, I found some descent torrents to start me off. I'm looking for old school hip-hop and trip-hop.

Post any similar artists, or specific songs you like! Any help is appreciated :grin:

Check out boom bip.


It's a different style of trip hop, but its really sweet, especially if you are mixing.

Nice! The seed to sun samples I listened to sound really cool. The album Sacchrilege sounds all futuristic, I'm going to have to check them all out.

I personally think that the two first members of lamb look like the most perfect couple.  I don't even know if they are.  Just the two of them together looks i dunno angelic maybe.....?

Nosaj Thing is awesome. I wouldn't quite call Flying Lotus trip hop but if you like Nosaj Thing you'll probably like Flying Lotus, so put that on your list of to-check-out as well. The album "Los Angeles" is tits.

Hundreds of albums for download, all trippy electronic goodness. Most on mediafire, some on rapidshare and megaupload. Lots of good artist's I've heard of.
