Do you wish you had a different first name?

I was gonna be named Jordan but than i was born on christmas eve, so my mom decided to name me chris.:rolleyes: lol

i hate that name.

as Hank Hill said after thinking he may have been adapted:

Hank:  "What if Hank isn't even my real name? I could of been named Chris. Oh God Peggy, what if i'm a Chris"

Jordan is a dumb name.

And it's "could have", not "could of".

I have a sanskrit/buddhist first name (its meaning is pretty awesome, but I don't want to get into it). However, it is VERY similar to a girls name, and people either don't read it correctly or think its a typo - so they say the girl name!

I used to hate roll call at new schools :facepalm:

I knew a guy named Jordan. Good friend until he decided to associate w/ his Pig cop buddies at work and tell me I have a drug problem after he said he did all these drugs to make himself look cool in front of me. Who cares if you did all those drugs? You don't have to do drugs to be a friend.

I have a pretty unusual name but I don't mind most of the time.

At family events though it gets pretty annoying.
- my dad has the same name
- my grandfather doesn't like his name so he uses his middle name (it's the same as my first)
So now if anyone calls my name 3 people look

I'm indifferent about my first name. It's alright, but it's not very euphonious with my last name. I like my last name though, and plenty of people just call me by that.

I've decided that I actually kinda like my name. I like the way it's spelled, I've never met another person with the same one.

My middle name is fucking retarded though.

No, I don't wish I had a different name, but it's not my favorite name out there. It flows well with my last name though, and I like my last name - some people just call me by that.

When I meet someone else with the name Justin I naturally size them up and see if they represent my name alright. It's about a 50/50 ratio, some pull it off, others do not.

It's funny sometimes when people are talking and they say something like "Just in case" or that something was "Just in time"

Makes me turn my head sometimes.

I like my name because it is really uncommon in north america. Parents are so uncreative, who would name their kid john, bob, ashley, etc now a-days? There a millions of those already. I think a law should be passed that a name can only be used once a decade, forcing parents to think up creative names for their newborns. It would abolish the need for last names as well, as everyone's first would be unique.
