LOL on 7 grams of mushrooms in the same room with him I'd end up purging his life.

You should have given him some mushrooms when he was all emotional from being kicked out of the house. That was prime FML territory.

Next time it's provoked it'll happen.  He hasn't directly provoked me yet since I made this thread.  He's indirectly pissed me off about things but when he snaps AT ME that's it.

I'm not going to start the fight.  My dad doesn't need that.  When it comes to it, you have my word I'll blacken his eye.  I'll get pics too.

Yep, and our behavior used to be the other way around.  I wasn't a hardcore trouble maker per se, but I had the cops come to the house all throughout elementary school.   After I got to middle school though the tables kind of turned.  He started getting in trouble all the time and I was the one pulling in straight A's and academically excelling.  He continued down that path and it worse than ever.

There is a general lack of discipline with
the baby of the family for some reason

Its the same way in my family
My baby sister is constantly
needing my mother to bail her out
financially for the most part

:ohwell:

Your best option is to suck it up as best you can
put down some well defined boundaries with your brother
and start looking to get a place of your own, find a roomie

Your brother is not your responsibility
let your father deal with him and just live your life

I was the baby of the family, and I am definitely the family member with the most-checkered past.

Your brother will hopefully straighten up in a few years.

I would hate to go back to being his age, without what I know now.

A little jail time might really do him some good.

I got a little buddy who I hope gets arrested soon.

It sounds crazy and I would never turn him in, but his life is out of control.

sup dobie.

I don't think jailtime ever does anyone "good".

The better alternative is to send them off to whoop whoop, absolutely rural as fuck in the middle of nowhere.

The country changes people for the better.

UPDATE!

He just checked himself into a rehab (no idea how he's paying for it).  He was shooting up to a bundle (14 bags) a day, and he's withdrawing hardcore.

No, I shook his hand and told him he's doing the right thing, and that I'm proud of him.  Yesterday, however, while he was withdrawing I got in his face and told him he's a pathetic piece of shit.

He was trying to get my Dad to drive him to the hospital but I refused and told my Dad to make him sweat it out.  And he listened.  It looks like I AM the man of the house...
