For what principle(s) would you go to a certain and painful death?

Yes, it is. The shine stands for his job title, which is Shoe Shiner, the moon stands for the time he comes out to be a nigger, which is best suited for the negroid camouflage.

I dunno, if I had children I'd like to think I would get killed to save them... if...

Maybe if I had a wife I would die for her, but I think that would depend on a whole lot more than the decision with my supposed children

Oh I failed I guess, though I guess for family is a principle in a sense. But yeah would I die for my own sense of self respect or honor, fuck no. For a religion or some metaphysical belief, fuckkkkkkk no. I run before confrontation. :rasta:

I can't think of general principles I'd die for. I guess I could only respond on a case by case basis, it would depend on who what I did would effect (other than me of course).

Goal of 300 Spartans wasn't to die, but to defend Sparta, it was very unlikely for any of them to survive though.

Don't be silly! :nono:

Their purpose was to provide us with a cool legend from which to make several awesome movies.

If I could die for a valid cause that would provide for the betterment of humanity as a whole, I'd do it. If I would die because my President thought it was best for my country, I wouldn't.

But, truly, if it came down to it, I would risk my life for the future of humanity. That's kind of what our parents did and what their parents did; they focused 20+ years to rear us and give us life. I would be honored to do the same for the future of homo sapiens sapiens and/or Earth.

A principle isnt a cause though.  A principle is merely a belief.  Thats how I interpreted the scenario.  I would pretend to have any belief they want to prevent painful death.

Hmmm.....

I don't really have any beliefs/principles. I haven't fully developed into my 'overman'1, so to speak. Ask me the same question in 15-20 years and I'll give you a definite answer. But as of right now, I'm still discovering life and trying to understand the purpose of existence. I am far too young to truly be able to answer the question.

No one can do anything but speculate from the saftey of their computer. I suspect we would all back out on many of our mucho beliefs if push came to shove.

So I guess I'm saying I don't know.
