Meet Fatty
    #11058113 -

I thought I’d share some Texas Cube porn with y’all.

Fatty grew from pin to pickin’ in about 18 hours.  :scaryshroom:

Fatty weighed in at 63 grams.  :dancingshroom:

Thanks!

I was surprised how fast it grew. Texas cubes are known to be slow growers and this was from a second flush.

Although i may advise others in a general way regarding all types of mushroom grows, and may even post question from other forums about growing "active" mushrooms, i only grow non-"active" mushrooms and edibles.

I might. If I do it will have to be from the cap after it's done dropping it spores on the foil. The rest is in the dehydrator.

Not really sure and it was on the second flush. The cake must have loved the 24 hour dunk.

The first flush was good too, just no fatties.

It's a 50/50 WBS/Substrate mix.

Substrate is approximately
70% Coir
20% Coffee
10% Drywall Gypsum

Cased with 50/50 Peat/Verm plus a heavy 'sprinkle' of drywall gypsum.
