I need help making a Workout Plan.

So I want to lose weight . My girlfriend just left me to go find herself , and she says she'll be back in three months . Now I'm left with nothing and shitty feelings of a broken heart. I want to start eating better and working out on a regular basis . If anyone could refer me to some information on a good workout routine I would be very grateful  . I don't have much money to speak of so the simpler the better . I want to mainly focus on my stomach / chest area . Then my arms and back , and I could use a lot of cardio seeing as I have been working office jobs for some time and have not worked out in years . I do currently have access to some small gym equipment .

I really need this to better myself anything you guys could offer will help .

Buy a 16kg kettlebell.  Here's the rundown.  Kettlebells offer an extremely invigorating workout in an extremely short amount of time that gives you both a cardio and a strength building workout simultaneously.  My workouts take ~20min, and I am WRECKED every time.

You can see my Kettlebell thread in P&MWB for more info about it, or shoot me a PM if you're intersted, i'd be more than happy to point you in the right direction if this sounds like something you'd be interested in.

Buy some running shoes, a cheap stop watch, and some thin shorts.  Buying these might motivate you to run(it did for me)...then make a running route that last 30 minutes...start off walking and end it walking and with light stretching.  Do it.

I went from 235 to 195 (6"1).  I used to eat anything and was kinda fat.  for the last 1.5 years Ive been working out and eating better.  I have already lost 40 pounds, and am in the best shape of my life.

The small thing make the huge difference...  I did the following

-quit smoking
-Quit eatin "fast food"
-quit drinking Pepsi, and other pop's
-Eat 3-4 meals aday (breakfast)(or more)
-Drink lots of water
-Eat lots of veggies (instead of chips)

Little changes like that Will really help

I also "workout" 3 times a week at home...

a workout can be anything from push ups to sit ups and curls to anything!!  My workouts change EVERY 3 months because they get to easy...  just keep challenging yourself! 


Living this way is so much more then just losing weight.  It becomes a way of life.  I'm not on a diet, I'm healthy. 

I used to get DEADLY anxiety.. but now i never do!  I feel very confident and fucking Strong!
