Mushrooms in Andora

I will go there in the winter holiday. THis little country is between France and Spain, high in the Alpes. MAybe got the climate that Switzerland has. I am now making a research over this country and I think tripping there would be great these are some pics I took from other sites so you can more easily tell me what shrooms should I hunt there. I will go there with cultivated mushrooms, but would be fun to go hunting once.

I think Psilocybe hispanica Guzm?n is in season right now. It was found two or three years ago by Nacho in the pyrenees. I bet mj might got something to say about this.

Here is the natural habitat where nacho discovered the first P. hipanica.

inthe Pyrenees.

They grow in manure intil the frost and/or freeze occurs. Remember it is colder up high in the mountains where these wshrooms are found and I believe their season is a short one.

Even the P. samuiensis in Thailand come up for five to seven days and then they are gone.\

I don't know, don't care how the shroom hunting is, those pics are absolutely amazing, I wish I was going there for the winter holiday.  Hope you have a good trip, and appreciate the beauty.  :wink:
