You could just buy a bunch now and save them.

OR you can go buy some cloves at the store (very cheap) and buy some rolling tobacco, also decently cheap, a pouch of bugler or tops where I'm at is like 4 bucks and it has enough tobacco for around 40 cigarettes.  Then you just roll your own cloves.  Its a lot cheaper and tastes EXACTLY the same as the kind you would buy at the store.  With packs of regular cigarettes running around 8 dollars and up here it saved you so much money.  Cloves around here are like 10 and up.  So buy some cloves and buy some bugler and you'll spend like 6 to 7 dollars at the most.

Also this way you have the option of making as many cloves as you want, or as many regular cigarettes as you want for when you want to change it up and the cloves will last you a while.

Yeah that's what I plan to do, but they'll only last for so long :sad:.  They usually ship from Indonesia , so maybe they'll still ship them after the ban.  I doubt it though.

I just read this from one of the links posted here.

“It is worthy of note that the bill makes no provisions that ban the import of the banned items for personal consumption, only for ’sale or distribution’, meaning that the law as it relates to the import of the items in question remains unchanged.”

And since Djarum is an Indonesian manufacturer with their headquarters at that country, I think it'll still be easy to order them from there.  Hopefully.

So in the end this bill just denies american retailers the ability to compete.  We are digging our own grave.

This is true, yet another reason why prohibitions don't work.

It's like e-cigarettes. They're made in China, and American retailers are having a hard time selling them under a possible FDA crackdown, so ultimately most of the retail sales and all the profits are going straight to China, and if customs can't keep all the oxycontin and xanax coming in from Mexico in the mails, then there's no way they're gonna stop tiny e-cigarette batteries and little bottles of nicotine from coming in...

Prohibition is only good business for smugglers and cops...

Yeah, but also think about the bright side of this.  If we buy a carton from them (10 packs) that's $40.95 with shipping.  Which means that's about $4 per pack.  I usually have to pay like $7 a pack at 7-11.  So we're saving money in the long run and one carton will probably last me like 6 months since I only smoke a few packs a month at most.

But also we can order different flavors of the blacks from the manufacurer like Tea or Cappuccino which I've never seen in any of the stores around here.  My friend said the tea ones are really good and have a sweet taste, not sure about cappuccino though.
