Is obama banning clove cigarettes?

My friend said he is but i thought it was just fruit flavor cigs.  That would really suck because that's all i like to smoke.

yes cloves are being banned, but djarum is changing their cigs to conform with the new mandate. i hear they will be more like a cigar, which isnt subject to the ban.

So, wait... clove cigarettes are going to be illegal to sell, or possess? Both? I must be missing something huge here because I can't see any reason at all for banning that and not regular cigs. Is there any real info on this or is it just rumors?

the ban is against flavored tobacco, because it is 'appealing to kids' and causing them to smoke.

menthol is not subject to this ban, cloves are, flavored cigarettes are (vanilla, etc).
