Found a Huge hemp field W/ PIX

I was going hiking the other day when i smelt skunk from while driving .  I heard there was hemp being grown in manitoba but this is the first time i saw it.


while driving looked over and saw..

went in to take a closer look..









Gave my dog a hemp bud to chew....

They smelt like weed... but the buds are 90% seeds, and have dont look like something u wanna smoke...

the thc level is very low u need to smoke a oz to get a slight buzz i heard...

I took a few top buds to show my friends though..

the hemp is grown for the seeds here in manitoba... But id like to see a hemp bud that wasnt grown with males, i wonder how the buds would look without seeds!

i new sum1 with a corn farm and he would chop down the hemp cuz it grew as a weed rofl

i was told that many farmers are growing hemp here now...  it nets more of a profit then most other crops...

Not necessarily engineered as such. It had little in it to begin with (c. ruderalis, that is). From there, it was a little step to breed strains with a high fiber and low THC content. This could explain the higher levels of CBD, as other psychoactive substances than THC may not have been part of the breeding criteria and hence could creep upwards unnoticed. That's just pure speculation on my part, though.

I haven't tried this. I have harvested a couple of industrial hemp plants a year ago and used the silk screen method to make a very tiny amount of ultra low-grade powder out of a huge heap of buds. It works, but it wasn't really worth the effort. A bubbler will be more effective and probably yield a much higher-quality product, but still, I doubt it's really worth it.

It's roughly the same height as corn.
  I bet you could grow a patch or corn then hide a plant in the middle somewhere.
I HATE corn though.
