i did already take penacilin for this back in april when i had  aroot canal done on one of these teeth

Hey, I hope you feel better soon.

You can get goldenseal capsules at the health food store, open a few of them up and mix them with some warm salt water. Swish around your mouth, try to hold it in your mouth for twenty minutes, then spit it out.

You can also cut a few cloves of garlic and hold them in your mouth near the point of infection.

both of these are natural and powerful antibiotics. Keep doing what your doc says, of course, but these two items are inexpensive and can help your healing process.

Get the required surgery, that's the only thing that'll help. Afterwards, you can work on recovering. But it will take more than some penicillin to take out the infection, so get them to do an extraction or apex resection or whatever is needed to get the rotting lump out of there. It's no fun, but it beats having the infection linger on for months or years. It'll only get worse.

littlebirdie, I've never heard of the garlic thing, but I do know that cloves (syzygium aromaticum) are supposed to help as a pain suppressor.
