Jaw infection

besides go to the dentist

wich i am doing



im on penacilin right now

and they gave me some vicoden. wich i hate

so its not seeming to get nybetter

i feel like my jaw is gonna fall off

penacilin's an antibiotic right?
how long have you been on it? usually you have to be on an antibiotic for 5-7 days for it to take effect against an infection.

the dentist are suppose to fix the infection...i thought penicillin is a pain killer?

nah penicillin's an antibiotic. i think it was the first antibiotic discovered actually.

thanks and all, im anyone had any real sugestions or expereince with this

i know jaw infections can be prettty bad

i havent finished my course of penacilin yet
tomaros my last day i think


anyway

im haigher that shit
iv eaten so much ganja candy and smoked so many bongs my head  is all frazeled and fuzzy. but the ain persists

the vicodin does nothing but make me quesy and ruin my guts

anyone I knew that had infections just had to deal with the pain there was nothing they took that did anything, sorry.  Morphine or heroin would be the only next thing but i'm sure you won't stoop to that level, I however would.

Sorry to hear that man. I wish I had better advice. All I can say is infections in the jaw are no joke and if it spreads and is left untreated it can be fatal. If you don't notice an improvement at the end of the penicillin you should probably get to a doctor/dentist asap.

im getting kinda scared

im on penacilin

almost done

but i diddnt reay take it fully as directed

i mean i just missed some pills
on a few days
today is my last day and its not getting any better



i got a scrips for stronger antibiotics and im most likly gonna get some oxy's

both im not really all tht thrilled about
im really actualy scared for getting these teeth extracted. its gonna ee fucking horible

and i hate adivan, and im too used to n2o for it to relly have much of a claming efect anymore



im scared

I just had two teeth pulled because my jaw was swelling up and the penicilin is not for pain and when your jaw is infected the week ass pills they give you wont do shit the best I could do for my pain was to get shit faced drunk but then that is just temperary relief and it throbs the next day twice as bad with the hang over but it shure seemed worth it at the time to kill it for the moment. sorry man.

The sooner you get that tooth out, the better man.

Talk to your dentist about alternative anesthetics for this procedure. My last two oral surgeries (wisdom teeth extraction, and wiring my jaw shut when it was broken) they used propofol, and that worked great. They straight put me out when they took out my teeth, and just used it to sedate me when they wired me shut.

Keep your head up mang, I know that you're in mega pain right now, but it'll go away.

No wonder the anti-biotics didn't work(seemingly). Good job.

Well, anti-biotics kill everything. If it doesn't feel better, then you allowed the infection to develop resistance against the anti-biotic. It's critical that they are taken continuously, every single day.
