jvc camcorder

hello, ive got a jvc everio g camcorder. the charger cord got severed in half about a year ago, long story short i am unable to charge the corder without it. is there a way I can splice a plug on to this cord to get it to charge again?

Yes. Its easy.

1) Cut the wire so its a nice clean break
2) Strip the wires
3) Twist the correct wires back togeather again
4) Solder the wires
5) Tape very well with electrical tape so they can never touch and short
6) Plug it in and hope no smoke or fire shoots out
