Welcome and good luck. I'd probably wipe it down inside and out with some bleach, rinse it out with water, then spray it down with Lysol. Use Lysol disenfectant, it rocks.

Just to be safe wash everything that comes close to the cakes just to be safe.

Always play it safe. Once you get to this step, getting germs in your growth medium really sucks. Clean it like you were going to eat off it. By the way Welcome.

10% bleach solution is your friend, keep a bottle of it near you where ever you hapen to be dealing with mushrooms spray every thing twice and use paper towels on every thing I do it about once a week. And clean my fruiting chambers inbetween casings
