Can i find opium in Amsterdam?

Ive been in the dam 4 times and i always thought some of the darker hashes at barneys have opium added to it...

It wasnt confirmed and this time when i go there i want to find and experience pure opium... do you know any coffee shops that sell it from under the table... and i have few buddies there who run things, im sure they can point me in the right direction.

Other than that, i never smoked pure opium - only hashes, whats pure opium like?

in my experiences, opiates are opiates. the difference between highs is barely noticeable (excluding heroin, which ive never done)

the problem with poppy pods and raw opium is that there is no way to properly measure the dose, which opens the doors for overdoses.

my advice would be to just try and score some synthetics. not only are they a lot easier to find, but you can actually measure out a proper dose.

however, if you are really super interested in smoking opium for the novelty...good luck finding the stuff.

you can always make a smokable extract from dried pods :shrug: but thats not as good.

there is no opium in any of the hash you buy in a coffee shop there.

really, there is no opium unless you grow it yourself, know who grew it, or live in a heroin producing country.

have fun smoking incense and thinking it is opium :highfive:

i don't consider people trying to sell me incense to be a good connection.

i've had real opium, both in the US and abroad, and the simple fact is (other than in SE/central asia) it is not grown for production. it makes a lot more sense to convert raw opium to heroin for transport. most people who buy "opium" aren't junkies and so don't notice that it is just placebo.

i don't know you, and don't give two fucks either way, but unless you are getting opium from somebody who is growing poppies as a hobby, it more than likely isn't real.

I dont think I'd but any stock into what someone who calls themselves "big stroonz" has to say:thumbup:  Why is it that people refuse to believe that the opium they've had was Dhoop inscense or Dragons blood rock?  If you smoking glob after glob of nasty tasting shit and you aren't nodding you should be able to put 2 and 2 together.  This one faggot even had the nerve to show me a chunk of redrock and when I said "nah man that shits fake" he says "no no man if you smoke it as is it wont work, you have to melt it down and stir it all around because the opium is not consistent in this chunk" haha I wanted to shoot him

i was going to say the exact same thing.

most opium on the streets is just incense and other kinds of non sense. lots of junkie placebo.

real opium would be potent and powerful in a dose of even .1

also you don't "smoke" real opium, you heat it up

if you really live in amsterdam then just stick with the sweet leaf

I smoked quality opium on several occasions in India. It's over-rated.

I prefer eating it, and the locals agreed. Though the smoke is very tasty, the effects are pretty minimal unless you want to dedicate a lot of time to the process.

Well I just meant I wouldnt bust my ass searching for it if my method of ingestion was gonna be eating it.  Also correct me if I'm wrong because I'm not sure but wouldnt eating opium not last nearly as long as pod tea?
