Oh, gotcha.
I don't see why it wouldn't last as long.
Isn't the only real big difference in opium/pod tea the different alkaloids? Or does opium contain the same alkaloids?
Never did to much research into it, i gave up finding opium a long while ago

i've gotten opium at a festival before and it definitely was more than a placebo

Yea ya know I'm realy not sure I was hoping you would know the difference between the two:grin:.  I'm pretty sure opium doesnt have as many alkaloids but I'm not positive.  Basicaly from the little I've read about it there may be  alkaloids in poppy tea that makes it harder for your body to metabolize morphine so it stays backed up in your system longer.

Opium poppy contains over 40 opium alkaloids, including codeine (about 1%), morphine (up to 20%), narcotine (about 5%),  and papaverine (about 1%). It also contains meconic acid, albumin, mucilage, sugars, resin, and wax.
I can't find anything else on it.

Opium - The six opium alkaloids which occur naturally in the largest amounts are morphine, narcotine, codeine, thebaine, papaverine and narceine. Of these, three are phenanthrene alkaloids and are under international control: these are morphine, codeine, and thebaine.
